Short Knowledge; Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has started the Prerna Scholarship Scheme 2026-27 to provide financial support to the children of CCL employees. Under this scheme, students studying from Class 5 to Post Graduation can get scholarships based on their academic performance. The application process started on 5 May 2026, and eligible candidates can apply offline till 30 September 2026 by submitting the form to the Welfare Department, Darbhanga House, Ranchi.

The scholarship includes both General and Merit categories, offering financial assistance from ₹270 to ₹3160 per month. Students applying for the scheme must have a bank account and fulfill the required academic percentage criteria according to their course. SC/ST students are also given relaxation in minimum marks. Interested students should apply within the deadline to avail the benefits of this scholarship scheme.
